  • Change Healthcare (CHC) has begun submitting some batch X12 electronic transactions to ForwardHealth. The volume of backlogged claims held by CHC and the amount of time it will take CHC to send them is unknown. ForwardHealth will process them in the order received.

  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is now required for the secure ForwardHealth Portal. Providers are encouraged to refer to the ForwardHealth Multi-Factor Authorization Instruction Sheet for help setting up MFA preferences.
    Providers may contact their Portal account administrator or call the ForwardHealth Portal Help Desk at 866-908-1363. Note: This is a project-specific announcement and is not related to the Change Healthcare disruption.
Member Enrollment and Prior Authorization Training

ForwardHealth Portal Basics for New Users – Member Enrollment and Prior Authorization Training

On June 12, 2019, providers and billing staff who are new users of the ForwardHealth Portal are invited to attend the Portal Basics for New Users – Member Enrollment Verification and Prior Authorization training.

This training session will include a basic introduction to, and overview of member enrollment verification and prior authorization on the secure portal. Attendees are encouraged to have established a secure Provider Portal account prior to attending a training session.

Covered Topics

This training session will cover the following topics:

  • Member Enrollment Review
  • Submitting a Prior Authorization (PA) Request
  • Additional Supporting Clinical Documentation
  • Accessing PA Information
  • Amending an Approved PA
  • Correcting a Returned PA
  • Changing a PA from Suspended to Pending

Registration

Providers do not need to register to participate in these online (real-time, web-based) training sessions.

Questions About MyRoom

Participation

These online (real-time, web-based) sessions are facilitated through HPE MyRoom. Prior to attending a MyRoom session for the first time, providers will need to download and install the MyRoom software. Access the Information Regarding HPE MyRoom document for basic information regarding downloading, installing, and using MyRoom.

Note: A separate phone line/phone number is not needed to listen in or participate in a MyRoom training session. For assistance with the sound or the communication tools in MyRoom, contact MyRoom technical support at 888-351-4732.

Participants enter MyRoom by selecting the appropriate participant key below. Participants may enter the training session at 12:30 p.m. This training session begins at 1:00 p.m. (CST) and ends at 2:30 p.m. (CST).
